I LOVE this little kettle! It is so easy to set up %26 pack away again! It boils 3 cups of water in a few (3!) minutes and you can keep it hot on the lower setting! And I mean it boils FAST! I filled it up and forgot to turn it off %26 it started to sizzle when the water was almost gone so I turned it off. Another time I forgot about it (on high) and it turned off on its own. The lid secures nicely on the top, but there's a little space near the spout that lets out a tiny stream excess steam (so watch out for that moisture in small spaces!). The handles on the lid and the sides stay cool always. I love that they fold into the kettle itself, so nothing is poking out to get hung up on anything. The bottom (base) packs into the kettle part %26 the cord wraps around inside (under) the base. The only problem I have is that I have to really jam the plug into the designated slot in the base, which bends the tines on the plug out. Then, when I plug it in, I have to push them together a bit to fit in the outlet. I wonder if the bending back %26 forth will make the plug weaker over time? But I love the size, the speed and the color of this little thing. It uses electricity to work, but it boils so fast, it doesn't use much power for long! It would be perfect to use with a portable power source.

This is so fantastic. My husband was so jealous when I made my Cream of Wheat for breakfast in my kettle the other day. Now he wants one for his Oatmeal.
