After calling several rental companies, I opted to resurrect and use an older sound system. To play it safe, I ordered mic cables that were 50 ft long, replacing other cables that were only 25 ft long and so old I do not remember when I bought them. Initially, these were to be "Plan B" in the event the wireless mic system did not work well. But I am getting ahead of myself. I ran into a delivery problem ans FedEx doubled down they delivered the mic cables, but did not. It juster so happened that the mic cables were purchased albeit on a separate order to the same vendor, later the same day. On delivery day FedEx's picture only showed one box (speaker cables), but two packages at the same time. When I explained and showed the picture and delivery email, WalMart contacted the vendor. When the vendor contacted me (email), I sent the same delivery info I had prior sent to WalMart. The vendor immediately agreed to reship and the mic cables were received the very next day! Although the system fared well in my house when checked by my audio engineer friend, the wireless system was very spotty in the venue. So, we opted immediately to use the wired mics and the cables worked superbly!
