Contractor Review
We have used thousands of gallons of this product over the past 5 years. The oil based formula penetrate very well and holds up extremely well over time. Keep in mind that proper prep work is the key to good results, but this product is extremely good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is rubbol the base coat in a 3 part system. the other reviews probly did not use the 2 topcoats I bet they had problems. I have used this for 43 years and it is amazing.

20 yrs experience
I've been using this product for 15 years or longer on my decks. The product holds up quite well and every 7 to 10 years I pressure wash and totally recoat with three coats. In between about every 3 years I pressure wash and recoat with one layer. I have used the natural color and it slowly darkens with age to a burgundy red on outdoor wood. 20 years ago I put it on a kitchen floor (oak) and today I put a fresh coat over bare wood. Tomorrow I plan to put a second coat on and that should take care of that kitchen floor for another 20 years.
