I believe you should buy vanilla beans from these folks at SloFoodGroup if you go and read their site I know you can get from there at a cheaper price if you buy in bulk. I have bought from here for 3 years. The first package I received was just like the picture beautiful and everything I was never questioned. Also the type of bean is a bigger bean. These would make great gifts.

This is a lovely shimmering vanilla and it is beautiful when a company sources their ingredients sustainably. It just makes you feel just that much better using their products knowing that not only are you safe but also the environment and Mother Nature. And you benefit in knowing your also using your pen on a daily basis.

The aroma and the full flavor of these beans is amazing. I have incorporated them into many desserts. From custards to cakes. One of my favorites rice pudding. But my ultimate favorite is to scrape out the seeds. Place them in a mason jar and fill 3 4 way up with sugar. In a couple of days you will have your own vanilla sugar.

I was really happy when these arrived and you could smell the lovely aroma as soon as you pulled the tab. The beans are dry perfect for espresso making. As far as Im concerned if you are buying espresso beans you want espresso beans. Not coffee trying to fool you. These beans are the real deal. Not dry like some points like others I have used. This means again I will save money and not sacrifice quality.

The vanilla beans are most likely great for those just getting into more authentic baking adventures and the ones wanting wanting to learn more about the process. They are a grade B bean so they are little drier then other beans and may take a little getting used to. Overall I think these are good starting beans and I would recommend them.
