wow! I must say I hope this is the future of microwaves. With other microwaves, I always heated my food at lower power so it wouldn't heat it so fast. No need for that now, just put your food in and hit start. I don't have to think about visitors who automatically hit 3 min and walk away. It senses when the food/beverage it hot and stops. No more covering most food items. Some bowls will heat up really hot so be weary of that and test each one until you get the hang of it.

Very Happy to have made the plunge to replace the gigantic over the range microwave with this smaller, newer technology. With only a little trepidation I jumped in and learned a few useful steps and now it is my favorite thing in the kitchen. Love the look, the drop down door and how easy it is to keep clean with just a quick wipe down. The heat sensing is perfect, which means no more messy spills.

I own a kitchen design firm and I was looking for a non-left hand swing micro for a client. I came across this model online and was intrigued by the look and features this offered. Then ironically, my own personal micro died, so I bought this one for myself, figuring I could give a first hand review to my client. It's simply the best microwave I've come across in my 30 years in business. It's engineered the way you would want it to be. No fuss, no extra, useless features. Just works great and has what you need a microwave to have. Plus it looks great and has an excellent footprint so it doesn't demand a lot of space on the counter but still has excellent capacity. And the interior is fantastic as well. Easy to clean, no nooks or crevices to collect grime and NO TURNTABLE! Can't say enough good things about this appliance. I have recommended it many times to my clients all with similar results. Good job Panasonic.

I've been using this microwave for a few weeks now, and couldn't be happier with this purchase. Yes, it cost more than other microwaves, but in my opinion the benefits of the smart sensors and spacious interior is worth it. It defrosts and/or reheats to perfection, with just the push of a button. The door opens downwards (like an oven), which gives more elbow room, especially if the microwave is placed in a corner space.

I have had many microwaves over the last two years since it is my primary source of cooking at the moment. This would happen to be the best microwave I have used yet. For starters it is in my opinion the quietest with just the sound of a fan and not that loud hum you would be used to. The sensor reheat actually works. With a plate of leftovers with multiple items it will heat it evenly with no cold spots or over heating.The beverage button heats water for tea to the perfect temp. The pull down door is great. By not having the turntable it is super easy to clean and does have the removable tray that catches anything that might fall down the gap in the door that keeps crumps and stuff off the counter top.

Different from all microwaves, and better in many ways. Gone is the glass tray and turntable. The door opens down from the top like a real oven, which may be good or bad depending on your counter layout, (I like it). The controls are not intuitive, so be sure to look that manual over first. The thing I like about this oven the most is the ability to make it not beep. It is very quiet except for the fan. The thing I'm not wild about is the fan. I runs for a few minutes after every cook job.

I like the size and power. I'm still getting adjusted to using. I thought you could put a frozen meal in and press sensor cook and it would cook it to perfection. I could not find any directions on how to so I wind up cooking it the same way I did with my 16 year old Panasonic Genius. The defrost works very well. I really like the defrost. All in all I really like this microwave.

I have had the microwave for maybe a month now. Last week, I started having issues when using the sensor heat. No matter what setting it's on, when using sensor heat, it often (more often each day) turns on for 2 seconds only and then turns off. I try to use the stop/reset button without effect. I have to keep unplugging the oven to reset it to use it at all. The microwave seems to be working, for now. Totally unimpressive for a supposedly higher-quality oven, with the price tag to prove it?

First let me say that I love the design and concepts behind this microwave. It is aesthetically beautiful. I was excited to get it because my space didn't allow for the standard right swing door that every other microwave uses without significant rearranging of my space. Unfortunately, the issue I am having is moisture. I used the unit twice. After the second use, which was to reheat rice, the condensation build up was noticeable on the door window. This typically happens with microwaves immediately after use. No biggie. The next evening, over 24 hours later I noticed the condensation didn't evaporate. I opened the door and noticed droplets on the edge of the interior of the unit, then more droplets all along the back of the unit. 36 hours after the last use it was still there. This is seriously concerning for 3 reasons - 1) Potential for rust to start. 2) Lack of venting allows mold and mildew to build up, which is problematic around food. 3) It is an electrical unit - which accumulation of moisture can create a fire hazard. After just 48 hours of having it, I opted to return.

Had to send back, waiting on another new one, hopefully it will work longer than 8 days.
