So I purchased this item for one that it was not intended for but works great doing. I have a granddaughter that is a toddler now and with a utility knife I cut the tube into smaller parts and secured them to the harden edges of furniture and fixtures that she might fall into. It worked GREAT and was a tenth of what corner protectors at the store costs to cover the same amount of edges. I loved this so much that I actually put them on the feet of my bed and other areas that someone could possible stub their toe on.. Best thing was no tape needed! Just cut the length you need then cut one side of the tube and it will grip onto whatever surface you need covered without messing up the surface. I hope this could help some new parents and grandparents to kid proof their homes.
I didn't use this for its intended purpose. I used it as padding for a support pole in my garage to protect my car door. I cut it lengthwise, put it partially around the pole, then attached it with zip ties. It's working great for this purpose.
We purchased these pool noodles for a Field Day event at our Day Program, and they were a huge success. Our participants had an absolute blast using them in a variety of games, relay races, obstacle courses, and team-building activities. The noodles are lightweight, easy to handle, and durable enough to withstand enthusiastic play throughout the day. They were especially useful because they can be adapted for participants with different abilities, allowing everyone to join in the fun and feel included. The bright color made them easy to see during activities, and they held up well despite continuous use. Sometimes the simplest items create the most memorable experiences, and these pool noodles definitely helped make our Field Day a fun and engaging event for everyone involved. We would absolutely purchase them again for future recreation days, adaptive sports activities, and outdoor events.
These noodles are great for kids and adults in the pool. They are also useful in crafts and household applications. I needed the one I got, to use as a covering on the metal tube legs on my desk. Now I can rest my leg against the desk leg and no problem, it is cushioned.
Got a new washing machine with stainless steel fill hoses. Their placement made me worry they might rub the finish on the side of the washer. Pool noodle to the rescue. A slit down one side, and it became padding for those hoses. Problem solved for very little money.
So many uses for pool noodles! I purchased these to protect my small grandchildren from the edge of my glass round coffee table. I put a slit in one side of the pool noodle. I wrapped the pool noodle (with the slit side inward) around the coffee table. Now I do not worry about bumping little heads.
Pool Noodles have many uses beyond swimming pools. I bought these because the were just the right size to slice lengthwise and wrap around the propane pipes which feed my propane fire place inside and my portable generator outside. I also use them to wrap around young trees supported by t-posts when their most vulnerable. The pool noodle is soft and protects the fragile trunk of the tree. I bet you could come up with some useful ideas, too. They are reasonably priced and come in a nice selection of colors.
This is not your average pool noodle, I bought them because I thought I was getting a deal but they are a lot smaller than the ones you typically see. That said , the kids at the pool party didn't seem to mind with all the other stuff they had to play with , I'm only leaving a review so it's clear for others and I do think it should be clear in the advertising.
I cannot get my husband and my accounts straight. It has become horribly frustrating. I've called and talked to your AI - most frustrating. Could not do a thing. Why do large corporations use the automated voice mail and now AI when it's been proven time and time again to NOT work. You are driving your customers away. Forget about going into the store to get anyone to help. It's time to put human beings back on the phones to help your customers before they all leave!
I ordered 4 cases of pool noodles, 20 in each case. I was expecting to receive 4 cases. Instead, I received 80 boxes, with one pool noodle in each box! Fed Ex backed into my driveway, parking their truck, running over and damaging my lawn as they did not stay on the paved driveway. They tried to deliver the 80 boxes and I refused the order. Fed Ex argued that I could not do that but I did it anyway. I have no room to store 80 boxes, let alone open each one to remove a rolled up pool noodle. I then received 80 consecutive text messages as each box was scanned in for return. It took a week of many phone calls and 5 chats with Walmart before I received a refund, all the while the status of the 80 individual pool noodles stated they'd redelivered. If that wasn't frustrating enough, Fed Ex sent my next order of bird feeders and Shepard hooks back as well, after it arrived in the area and was in the truck for delivery. The bird feeders are now sold out and I cannot re-order them. Good luck trying to escalate any problems to upper management at Walmart and Fed Ex!!
