These are delicious. I was hesitant to buy them because I didn't know if they taste like lays , but they actually tasted just as good to me thank you Walmart. I'm living on a tight budget and I got to taste the chips that taste like lay's for the price of Walmart.
I was honestly surprised by how big the 8 oz bag is. Definitely enough for sharing, parties, or several snack sessions. The chips were fresh, crispy, and perfectly salty with that classic potato chip flavor. I also liked that they weren't overly greasy and most of the chips arrived whole instead of crushed. These taste very comparable to more expensive name brands for a much better price. Great for sandwiches, dips, or just snacking straight from the bag.
it seems like Lay's potato chips has altered formula and became absolutely terrible. and at the same time Great value has either switch manufacturers or change their formula and became the best potato chip I've ever tasted. I hope Walmart keeps it with this vendor as you know Walmart has a habit of switching every year and they usually don't switch for the better for the consumer. highly recommend these potato chips you should give them a try for a buck and a half a bag compared to 250 for the national brand you can't go wrong.
Great Value Original Potato Chips Have A Really Good Taste, And Are Very Crispy And Have Just The Right Amount Of Salt. I Like To Enjoy These With A Sandwich Or Alone Just As A Snack While Watching Tv . They Are Just As Good As The More Expensive Brands. Quite Possibly Better Than Most. I Highly Recommend.
You will not notice a difference in taste or texture from the other yellow chip bag..... But these ones win the contest because they are less than half the price.
These potato chips are delicious! They are just ase good as any other chips I've had. If you were to pour them all out in bowls you couldn't tell the difference.
I am a repeat customer for these chips and I purchased two bags this glass order and they have always been 8 oz but this one particular bag was probably half that size. very disappointed because I do shop all the Great Value products.
Texture is good, pricing is very good, salting is inconsistent. I've had several bags where there was NO perceived salt at all, which is the one of the main reasons for buying them. That's a nope for me...
I used to love these chips, but my last two bags have taken a turn for the worse. They’re so bitter, and taste burnt or almost musty? They don’t smell right, like old oil. I’m honestly worried to finish the current bag in fear that it’s rancid and unsafe to eat.
These are awful. When it says "crunchy" it means so thick it's like eating .. I don't know what. And if you're shopping from a phone like I always have to, the word "crunchy" is written in yellow and it's hard to see. Returning these.
