Mediocre
Seem to be a little thin. Size is good, just seem not well made and I don't think they will last for a long period of time. That's fine if you change out your towels yearly, I don't.

Lavish?
These are medium weight towels. Nice enough but I think ""lavish"" is a little overstated in the title. They will be fine in the guest room where they do not get a lot of use but they are a bit lightweight.
