I can roast meat with vegetables, rice with meat, pancakes and all of them are cooked properly, nothing burnt. I like the design, the thick bottom is very convenient for frying, roasting n sautéing. Very satisfied! Highly recommend! I wish there would be a lid.
Heats evenly, holds a steady temperature, and great size. Keep the heat low. This is a great pan, but keep the heat lower than temperature often used for thin, inexpensive pans. Soaking with soap and water removed my first burnt meal. Now, clean up is easy because I learned my lesson.
So far, this pan and for the low cost has been doing the same job as those high price pans out there.... season it like any other stainless pan, and nothing will stick for the longest.. I love it.
Great looking ,great cooking! Not heavy, right size, easy to maneuver it !
nice, quality made pan
I love to cook in this especially omelettes and Indian veggie curries.it is easy to clean up too and doesn't burn food. its a good size and the depth is good for a little frying. the handle does heat up.
love my pan but it came with a scratch right across the inside of it where you place your food.
I gave this one more star than I wanted to give because it does have (or so they say) 100% PFOA and APEO-Free Non-Stick Coating. However, I absolutely hate this thing and won't be using it. The skillet is heavy and the handle is so poorly designed, it makes it difficult to carry or pour contents from the skillet. Look at the handle, it's wide at the end, then tapers into a narrow area, then out again. To grip the handle you have to either just hold the end, which makes it very awkward, or somehow grip both the wide and narrow at the same time, again awkward. Normally you get a good hand grip on a handle, but you can't with the shape of this one. You're either too far out which makes the pan awkward and heavy, or you can't get a good grip because the narrow part isn't really a good size for gripping. I tried anyway, but it kept slipping in my hand and when I tried to pour, I couldn't do it w/o it slipping, so I had to lean it across something to hold the weight. Even then it was so awkward and uncomfortable. I wouldn't want to have something hot in this because it could spill or you'd drop it. Terrible design. I've never had a skillet like this. I've had handles that weren't particularly comfortable, but this is not even balanced. I won't use it, because it's an accident waiting to happen.
Purchased the pan a few months ago after the previous one lost its non stick coating. I followed the care instructions for this pan carefully (minimal heat, season with oil and not once did I use a sponge to clean it OR use any soap on it). The coating is still on, but appears to be failing as there are tiny scratches all over the pan. I have always used a rubber spatula and never anything metal. I would not buy this pan again
Discoloration after two uses
