10 Ton Benchtop Shop Press, Hydraulic, Black Widow

Press arrived super fast and was easy to assemble even by myself. This thing works great and performs outstanding. I was afraid the air over hydraulic was going to be slow from watching reviews on other brands but not the case here. I haven't even had to use the manual pump yet but it's nice knowing it's there if needed. Wish I had found this press earlier because it's already saved me tons of time on just the few projects I've had in the shop. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Haven't had a chance to use this press much yet, but so far seems well built and a good upgrade from our old 12 ton press. Movable cylinder (L & R) is a nice feature but not sure if we'll use it much. The air over hydraulic feature seems handy since the pump volume seems to be pretty small. That's probably the only negative I can see thus far...very small pump means you'll need to pump alot to move the ram very far. Other than that, no issues so far. Decent press for the price. We received the press and everything appears to be well built and nice looking. Connected air to it and seems to work as expected and should be a good useful tool for our shop. It also has a manual pump as well so even if air isn't applied it can still be used. Seems like a nice unit but have not tried it out in any type of heavy duty application yet. Just light work so far but works well with that.

It is a very good press, which is solidly built. I put 4 starts because air module came severely scratched. Another issue is the worktable could have been longer. When raised or lowered from one side it can easily slip from another side and fall down on your foot (ask me how I know).

I've owned this press for over a year now and am satisfied with its performance. It is build very sturdy and is powerful enough for just about anything a hobbiest could throw at it. It does use quite a bit of air, but that's to be expected. I added some metal casters to make it easy to move around my shop, and made up a receiver and set of 3/4" diameter pins from 2" to 15". The weak point seems to be the pressure gauge. The original one failed within a week and customer service sent me a replacement. That one failed soon after, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

Press arrived very quickly, Works well, I like the fact that I can move the ram to the left and right. built strong with good size channel. I think its a great press for the price. Now I will mention that I critique everything so this is what I have to complain about.....Instructions are just basically a parts breakdown, The hard plastic sealing washer that came with the gauge self destructed at about 12 tons pressure so I replaced it with a soft copper crush washer and it has been working fine, I have tested to 20 tons, I used some of my own hardware on the bottom end of the press during assembly because the included hardware was a very loose fit for the hole size. The ''working table'' pieces of channel dont overlap the adjustable pins by much...I was lifting one side up with plates on it to adjust height and the other side rolled off the pin dumping a 30 pound pc of steel next to my foot, So I suggest clear the work table before adjusting height. Even though I have some complaints I am very happy with my purchase.

We are very happy with this product, it is up to the standard we were hoping for. Easy assembly for faster use of this machine. Also Very impressed with the fast shipping!!!!

Very easy to assemble, manual is basically a parts manual, no help to assemble, bolts where not tight on pump so oil sprayed out when system was initially used, all areas where not painted, but over all a nice press once you correct what their QA department did not catch.
