These are pointy
This container holds multiple packages of cotton tipped applicators, ie, qtips. The fiber is tightly wound and ends in a point as opposed to a rounded, fluffy end. I did not mind the difference, but I would not allow children to use them for fear of tympanic membrane perforation. I mean, I would educate anyone about the indication of potential harm. That's why I am giving them 3 stars. For eyeshadow application : 5 stars. Be safe.

To Sharp on the point
The point on these is too sharp. I had to push them down on a flat surface, but they were still too sharp, would not recommend.
