Beware of chincy thread count on quality.
I am extremely disappointed by these sheets. They are advertised as 1000 thread count, but feel and look as though they are barely 300. It is difficult finding Queen XL sheet sets, so when I saw that Walmart had 100% Egyptian cotton 1000 thread count sets, I bought 2 for our 6'4” son's bed. I am especially upset because he was home to receive the package and not knowing what to expect in his sheets, he opened them and ran them through the washer as he was expecting them. Once home, I saw their lack of quality…%26 the fine print on each package that stated opened, washed sheets are unreturnable. This is a DEFINITE case of FALSE ADVERTISING!!! I will go back to shopping at Macy's where a 1000 thread count is a true 1000 thread count textile. Walmart, I am EXTREMELY disappointed in you.
