I always used Samsung SSD in the past, but now I wanted to try Kingston SSD and I don't regret it, the reading speed is almost the same, but the writing speed is much higher although it has never reached the speed advertised; but anyway, it is an excellent SSD.
I continue to be amazed by the performance of the Kingston Renegade PCIe M.2 SSD 1TB. I have been using NVMe drives for my photo editing on my Ryzen and i9 12900k desktop machines. Next I will purchase your 2TB and 4TB Renegade NVMe drives to use for processing my 100mp PhaseOne and Hasselblad raw images and convert these into TIF files for printing up to 44 inch wide exhibition prints. I also plan on purchasing 128gb of your Fury Renegade DDR5 RGB memory to further improving my editing speed. It also looks great!
Other SSD's are fast for a short time, then throttle dramatically. This device is fast for several minutes, not just fast for a few seconds. It runs cool as well. Can't beat the performance of the Fury until a Phison e26 version of this device is released.
If you're looking for a extension to your PS5 storage, the Fury is an excellent choice! In addition, this SSD M 1 can also add storage to your DT or LT. Great product, love Kingston!
SSD is well worth the price the overall quality and the speeds are perfect for moving big files works flawless in my PS5 will definitely recommend Kingston
I install this at a new custom build PC with Intel i5 13th Generation mounted inside an Asus TUF GAMING Z790-PLUS WIFI D4 with 32MB Memory and at normal settings ( no over clocking) the Drive reads 6778 MBs and Writes 3748 MBs
The perfect drive for my new Intel NUC! Super-fast R/W speeds. I added a pair of Kingston 16GB RAM models and could not be happier. Everything is really fast.
Super happy with this SSD. PS5 recognizes and formats as soon as you boot up. Downloads and plays games from the SSD and exceeds the required specs outlined by Sony for compatibility. Definitely recommend!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Kingston FURY Renegade PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD 500GB, a drive designed with a graphene aluminum heat spreader to keep the drive cool, is as easy as it comes to adding a secondary SSD to the PlayStation 5, since you don't need to attach a heatsink for the additional SSD. This Kingston SSD is plug and play out of the packaging for a console user! There are guides provided by both Sony and Kingston on the installation process online. And then once I turned on my PS5, I was instantly greeted with reformatting onboarding, and I see the Kingston SSD clearly recognized by the PS5 software by name. The PS5 shows a read speed of 6255.564 MB/s on this Kingston SSD; a blazing fast experience from Kingston on the blazing fast PS5. A Kingston SSD and a PS5 is a perfect combo. Attached are some pics of my SSD installation process.
Easy to install and format. The speeds are as fast as rated, which is very fast. Overall very happy with the price-to-performance value.
