My children ages 2 through 16 simply can't get enough of this trampoline! Overnight we became the most popular family on the block. We set it up in about 2-3 hours. My 14 yr. old son and 13 yr. old daughter actually did it all on their own with their mom's supervision. The hardest part was getting all the springs connected. We did have one of the caps that lost a nut and needs to be replaced. We are hoping the trampoline will hold up well since we only bought it about a week ago and it's too soon to tell. Overall, it seems like a great fun product.
From all the prior reviews, expected this to be a great experience, and it sure was. Built this by myself in under 2 hours. Instructions indicate that you need at least 2 people to build this, and while that will speed up the process, I found it not to be required. The step where this is required is joining the 4 arcs together as they need to all be balanced standing up prior to connecting. I balanced one arc up against the wall of my backyard and held the other one up myself to connect them. Anything after that can be done alone without a problem. As others have mentioned, just follow instructions on lining up the enclosure net properly starting just to the left of the zipper door. Watch youtube video. There's a quick step by step video for I believe it was a 12' but the idea is nearly the same.
My husband and I bought this for our very energetic 3 year old son. He loves it! The weight limit says 175lbs, however my husband is approx 180lbs and my son is approx 40lbs and they play on it together without any concern. It was very easy to put together, we got it all together in about 1 hour. The enclosure is very secure and safe. The opening of the enclosure has a zipper but also has clips about every 12" and the zipper part clips to the base so it cannot be opened from the inside. It's great because of the size, not too big for our small yard but not to small that he'll out grow it. It also comes with safety stakes to secure to the ground if you wish. We personally only use two due to moving the trampoline frequently to mow, and it's still very sturdy. And contrary to other reviews all of the pieces and parts were included and the box it arrived in was flawless. Just a note too, the box it comes in does not have a picture of its contents on it, so our son had no idea what it was until his birthday. We also added different sized beach/inflatable balls to it for more fun while jumping alone. Definitely a great purchase that will outlast his childhood.
I ordered this ten foot trampoline for my two kids, ages 4 and 7. I needed a smaller size trampoline due to my small yard. I set this trampoline up by myself, and it took me roughly three hours, but would have taken me only two had I read through the instructions more thoroughly. Everything about the trampoline seems to be top quality and well constructed, with safety in mind each step of the way. Some safety items are: the safety net is connected to each individual spring, keeping the bounce area secure for the little ones. The zipper on the net is heavy duty and is easy to open and close. The pad around the edges has heavy duty ties to secure it to the frame of the trampoline and it completely covers the springs. When you are putting this together, pay close attention to the instructions and put the opening of the safety net to the left of the T joint (the one WITHOUT the hole for the support pole for the net). I put it in the wrong place and had to take all the springs and the mat completely off and start over. The instructions are very detailed and thorough, just make sure you read through them thoroughly (unlike me). This trampoline is the perfect size for my two guys. Adding a third kid is cutting it close, and a fourth would be too much. I would recommend this trampoline for the younger crowd. It's the perfect size for our family... And I've jumped on it by myself when the kids are at school!
I'm a tall fellow and weigh around 190 lbs. This trampoline isn't rated for the weight of both me and my young toddler. That was a slight surprise, but I would've known that if I would've paid closer attention to the specifications before ordering. If you're going to only have smaller kids or a couple of bigger kids, this weight limit shouldn't be an issue. The 10' size works perfect for us, and our toddler feels very comfortable on it. Of course safety and monitoring if very important. Assembly was a little time-consuming, but really not that difficult. The only thing that I didn't like was that the instructions were slightly tricky because it was written by someone using English as a second language. Grammar was off, but generally it was easy to understand the points being made...so not too bad. It says you have to have two people to assemble it, but I managed almost all of it myself. Another person really does help though. I'm very curious to see how well this is going to hold up over time, but so far very very happy with this product and very happy about the price! We personally really like the green pad color as opposed to the blue because we find the black and green blend in with our backyard's natural surroundings in a more subtle way. Kind of like camouflage ;-)
It's really nice... so glad we didn't opt for the 7'. This one wasn't much more and a bunch more room. Fits my 5 1/2 yo and 2 1/2 yo perfectly. It was missing a couple of parts but they sent them to us.
My husband set this up for our boys ( 8 and 3) one week ago and they have been on it non-stop. For the price you can't beat it. Pros: Quick and easy setup. It took my husband about 2 hours to complete it. Read instructions thoroughly to save time. Size. We have a very small area and this fits nicely. Net can also be quickly taken down if you have homeowner standards that prevent things from showing above the fence. Cost. You can't beat a $200 trampoline. Cons: Weight limit. 175 lb weight limit is a bummer but so is spending $1,000 on a trampoline. Noisy. The springs can get pretty noisy when both kids are jumping but not a huge deal. All in all this is a nice trampoline that should give us a couple of years at least.
Crying didn't seem to help, but watching their on line video instructions for a different size did. Problem was in that video one part was already "pre assembled" which was not the case in my trampoline. It was covered in the manual, but you have to have a ton of patience and be a bit physic to figure it out how to do it. I would put this on a 9.5 out of 10 hard to assemble list, and I have assembled a lot. Finally done and it is great! PRICE is amazing.....less then 200 for a great product and looks like years of fun.
I'm 43 and out of shape and I put it together all by myself in about 4 hours. I even did something wrong - one of the instructions was to line the door above a t-joint. There were 2 joints that looked like T-joints and I put it above the wrong one. I didn't discover my mistake until I had connected all 64 springs, so I had to take all 64 springs off, rotate the mat, and put all 64 springs back on again. And I still got it put together in 4 hours. I love the design that puts the net walls on the inside of the springs right next to the mat, eliminating the possibility of accidentally jumping and landing on the springs. My only real criticism of this trampoline is that with the springs on the outside it's a bit of a challenge to get into and out of. Also, anyone 5 feet tall or shorter will NEED a ladder to get into it. But for $200 plus $30 for the warranty, it's an absolute steal. My daughter loves it.
this purchase has been one of the best I've bought so far. My boys 6 & 7 love it. My husband put it together independently in just S few hours no problems all fun so far! My husband did have to buy ties from Wallmart for the netting but he's known to not read the instructions fully and then having to improvise at the end but all good
