Just wow~ Grrreat product! After finding many scratches on wife's 10 year old car, wanted to try lessening the visible scratches. I've used a bunch of different scratch removing wax/rubbing compounds since my youth, and never really had much success with any of those products! While watching scratch remover product reviews online, the Mcguiars rubbing compound seemed to work great by hand, but I noticed the best performers were kits that had drill attachments. Researching more into the polishers, it seems the machines allow more vigorous rubbing which generates heat to help the scratch remover products do their work. Can't believe I've had nothing but disappointments whenever trying to remove scratches on my car over the decades, but have now finally figured out the missing link! This drill kit allows the rubbing compound to "erase" even what I assumed were impossible to remove scratches! If paint chunk is chipped off and you see the body underneath, it won't fix that but anything up to missing paint, this thing makes short work of! After seeing the results on the passenger bumper corner, fixed the scratched up headlights, then the rest of the front end. Noticed the rear quarterpanel had a pretty big scratch/contact maybe another car bumped against before, even removed that! Such an excellent product that I went ahead and ordered another kit to have as back up! Even though the first product is still in pristine shape after doing all my scratch removing yesterday. Seemed like 4 colors have different firmness to the foam. Orange felt the firmest, so I used that with rubbing compound to remove scratches. Then I used the softer Black foam to apply fresh wax over the worked areas. I still can't believe all the times I've tried removing scratches by hand for DECADES and wondering if all those scratch removing products were a scam. I think with this drill attachment applicator, any scratch remover product will work well. I just used the mcguiars since it performed well on the youtube review.
value and just the right product
Pack was missing the part to attach the pad hold to drill. I just ordered another one from Amazon bc it was easier than trying to return this.
