the technician said and showed me the outer frame of out door unit was bent during shipping scratches and chips all over it when thay got to the line the port for large line was rusted and pitted even the seat where the oring seals was rusted along with the threads the pacaging was next to none for padding the fan motor paint was rubbed off due to no padding in-between and red paint from the unit was all over the inside of box due to poor pacaging technician said it really lookednlike a return pacages by previous buyer and just shiped right back out afrer return thing will not hold a charge due to the pitted rust thay told me to sendnpictures to advise me of what thay think i should do unit needed to be replaced any pitted rust in them conectors will cause a leak even a small leak during 90 degree weather the think will not work right due to losing charge no call for the conection to be rusted and pitted
