I was able to get rid of all my bulky cutting boards. I use cutting boards for vegetables and meat love that they are dish washable safe.

Not just as a cutting board or to hold scraps, but it worked great to roll out dough and to separate foods and ingredients as I was cooking and baking. Super easy to clean and store as well. I 2ould highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First, the not-so-good news: Even cutting with care leaves visible marks on the mats (see attached photo - at least a dozen onions' worth of marks). These are not bothersome nor especially unsightly, but it would be nice to purchase new mats occasionally. Also, the removable tray is restrained a bit too well so that removing it to relocate cut items can cause the food to jump out. Perhaps a little filing or sanding will alleviate the problem. Simply moving cut items on a mat works fabulously. The system is made of attractive and sturdy plastic. After five weeks of use, it still looks good and performs as intended. Three mats of different colors make it easy to designate an onion/garlic mat, a fruit mat, and a meat mat. (because no matter how clean a cutting board is, the onion/garlic taste will remain). The ReadyPrep system would be very useful for people with limited kitchen space.

Easy to follow instructions..Keeps foods from cross-contamination with this system.Prep section as a part for waste. And it stores away nice and neatly as one unit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received my boards a few weeks ago and they are very sturdy and I love the different boards I can cut fresh meat and change boards to cut my vegetables I don't have to stop and wash my board it's high quality and great colors!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of the things I like about this system is that I can keep the cutting boards together without taking up a lot of counter space. The colorful boards also are fun. The one downside of the system is that I don't feel like I can do chopping in the same way as one of my favorite boards. There is a lot of give, so I have to exert more effort to chop. This may be just a case of me getting used to something different, as I do enjoy the concept.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have used a number of different cutting boards over the years, both plastic and wood, and the ReadyPrep Cutting Board System is an interesting solution for having multiple prep surfaces along with a storage container / cutting board. The system is made of inexpensive and durable materials. It is generally dishwasher safe and easy to clean. The cutting board is grooved and non-slip which are definite pluses. The downside is that the cutting surface will probably need to be replaced before the prep mats. If individual parts can be purchased this would be ideal.

I really like that is comes with 3 separate different color cutting boards, so you can use a specific color for meat and other ingredients. It's also really nice to have a place to store them when they are all clean so that they can't collect dust. Now the only drawbacks I see is that the side container that you can use to easily collect all the already cut material does take a little wiggling to get out, and if I was to use the actual case as a cutting board I would probably break it since my knifes are not sharp at all... which might not be an issue for most people (I really need to either sharpen or replace my knife set) but it still works great for me. It also cleans really easily and the individual mats feel pretty strong so I think it will last a long time.
