These bulbs are terrible. They are suppose to be dimmable they are not. They have 3 modes. Low full and off but still showing off like a ghost. It has this residual effect in the bulbs to where you have to take them out of the socket or lamp to get them to lose all charge EACH TIME you turn them on. They do still flicker quite badly. It is like living in a haunted house because each that I put in our 9 ft ceiling with alot of trouble stays glowing ALL OF THE TIME!

The light output from this lamp is gorgeous and makes me feel like I am outside in wide open spaces. It makes my office feel fresh! The issue is I have had multiple failures and I have not even had these bulbs for a year. There must be an internal component failing that deals with the AC current because the failure mode I am experiencing is a rapid strobe effect, the flicker does not stop and it is eye-strain inducing and I've just had to sit in the dark sometimes before I changed the bulb. I thought these lamps would be robust and even last much longer than even the next tenant's lease at this apartment but they failed in about 7 months or so.

Bought off the "Made In USA" site, but they're made in china. VERY tiny print, very hard to find!
