Chef Boyardee spaghetti and meatballs is something I've been eating since I was a kid. It has a nostalgic taste that I still really enjoy. Even though I'm not a big fan of processed meat, I usually just take the meatballs out and eat the spaghetti. I wish they made a version without the meatballs, but it's still delicious either way. Overall, it's an easy, comforting meal that I've always liked.
I'm on the fence…. They changed everything about this product. The spaghetti is not the same, it's very thin and not round any more. It's slightly flat-ish now and mushy when cooked. Sauce is thicker and tastes less tomato-ey. Meatballs got smaller and mushier and less meaty. WHY did they change this product after over 50-60 years of it being the same!?!?!?!!!! 😡😡😡. I like it the way it was!!!!!
The only Kwong I have what this is I don't like the meatballs in it so I wish they made just a spaghetti without the which is the meat sauce and not the meatballs because the meatballs are not good and I end up taking one of them out and I would really love it if they need one they just put the spaghetti with the meat sauce
It's fast to prepare, nutritional %26 the kids seem to like it. Don't tell them the part about being good for them! Remember when YOU were a kid. Any adult who told you that something you were eating was good for you, was like the 'Kiss of Death' for whatever was on your plate! Tim R.
It is canned food. But for canned food, it is pretty good. Texture and flavor is definitely NOT as good as homemade. But it is good enough. The low price elevates the rating. You can't make homemade for the same price. Preparation is also fast and simple. Definitely a food to keep in your pantry. I would definitely recommend.
Not exactly quality food, but - i can't help it - i like this stuff from kid to adult to senior! What's faster than opening a can for quick heating and enjoying good memories with the first spoonful plus it's STILL 🤞very reasonably priced. Once good pricing disappears so will this customer! Memories only last just so long!?
Let's face it, canned spaghetti is not as good as Mama's or the Italian restaurant down the street, but it is passable for a fellow who doesn't want to go to the trouble of boiling the noodles and making the sauce. That's why I buy it. Plop it into the pan and heat it up. Then eat it. It's filling. Walmart suggests a few things I might want to consider in my review: Ham is not in this spaghetti. I can't imagine using it for fajitas. You might serve it with a side of Green beans, but why? It has sodium in it. I don't know how much.
I don't eat this stuff, my wife does. I ate this stuff when I was a kid because it was easy for my mom to make for lunch. I think the "meat is mostly made by using a touch of some kind of meat and the rest is ground grain?? For the life of me, I just don't know what is in the sauce, it definitely is not Italian style. The only thing going for is the price, it's cheap.
The cans I got this week are horrible, too lose sauce, and fewer noodles. The meatballs were the same and the taste was horrendous. I almost choke trying drink the soupy sauce. Please change it back! I have limited mobility. So, it was my go too when I didn't have someone to cook for me. GOD bless.
