These are really good and at a good value. They are not packed in liquid or oil which is actually fine. I love the smoked flavor and with a little hot sauce these are tasty. They will be another favorite in my sardine arsenal! lol.

Great choice to get a good omega 3 source in your diet. Did not taste too fishy. Works really well with a spicy tomato sauce and a side salad, to make a very healthy lunch.

My daughterr lives these herring fillets! Great deal because here in the South, we dont have a lot of fish options and especially canned and or shelf stable.

Crown Prince Kipper Snacks are firm, tightly packed and so good. Wonderful flavor. Great on Walmart's brand of club crackers.

love the Kipper's it a great snack or a meal add a salad. You don't have to cook them the Omega three is a plus.

I have been eating these on toast for over 50 years. They are wild caught, sustainable, eat small organisms and do not collect heavy metals like tuna and sharks do. My dog loves the fish oil that collects in the cans and chews up the empty cans if she gets one. Top with Dijon Mustard and Horseradish.

Great protein option or to eat alongside sandwiches. Delicious and the texture is fresh and flaky.

I have had problems with opening some of these cans. The tab that they now use is sometimes defective. When they had the roll top openings this was never a problem. When this happens, you cannot use a can opener. I've found that a clean straight-edge screwdriver inserted into the gap where the tab broke off can jimmy it open carefully. Be sure to do this slowly so you do not cut yourself.

I have bought these kippers for years. But lately I have had a few that had less fish in the can. They always used to be full. What is going on that there is less fish in the can!? Very disappointed and disgusted that they are giving less fish and still paying the same price.
