12 Pack: Golden Glass Gems & Marbles By Ashland™

I used two these not as they were originally intended. I made a mixed media sculpture of a tiger and was looking for something to use as the eyes. These were the shade for the eyes. I simply scraped a small circle and lines on the back of the large semi-circle beads and paint it black. Bingo! Two tiger eyes.

Used this together with the Mega wired ribbon by Celebrate It, it goes well with the similar shade which I used as a retirement bouquet. The glass are very smooth, clear and shiny. There weren't any chipped or broken shards of the glass beads plus these were on sale at the time of purchase.

The variety of colors and shapes were perfect for the project we were working on. So much so that we cleaned the store out and had to order more online and they shipped so fast!

Bought these to fill a vase holding an artificial vine which itself was bought at Michael's and is very realistic. The coloured glass filled the vase and is a lovely warm yellow. And it happened to be on sale!

The glass gems are an inexpensive and easy touch to add to any decor. The variety of colors allow you to use for almost anything, beautiful as (water) in artificial or crystal flowers.

Absolutely beautiful, they are much nicer than I anticipated. What I like especially with all the different sizes and the colors works well in my design.

Used in base of clear vase with silk sunflowers for interest. Added small sunflower lights with timer on top of these glass marbles. Makes a nice centerpiece and a nice night light on the dining room table or in any room vase is placed.

For the craft I was doing, I needed clear flatback gems. This assortment contained marbles and many gems that were opaque by virtue of the application of gold paint. The gems that were clear worked very well in the project.

Michael's needs quality control. Two of these arrived with the plastic container broken. Beads all loose in box. A mess. This happens all the time. I know they are broken when packaged. It's a conscious decision to ship broken merchandise that won't sell in the store.
