This sauce tastes really good. It does not taste very salty or spicy but has a good flavor. It is not chunky but the texture is smooth and creamy. It comes in a jar so I bought a small one because I never made it before. I only had it in restaurants. I had to read how much to use. For two servings of pasta, I put in half a cup of this sauce. It was enough for me. Prep: After I cooked the pasta, I poured out the water. Then I poured the sauce over the pasta in the same pan and cooked it for a few more minutes. I used the thermometer and it was over 165, so it was done. I liked this alfredo sauce but I also might try the one with cheese in it.
This is the first time I've ordered this jar sauce. It had a good balance flavors. I found it not too spicy nor not too salty but just right. This was much quicker %26 easier than making from scratch. Also a lot more economical. I will be ordering this Great Value brand again. I recommend it.
I ended up trying both this and Bertolli. I was irritated that I spent extra money on a name brand because both jars taste the same and cook up the same. I never eat the sauces straight up. I always add my personal no salt seasonings, parmesean cheese, then a bit of pasta water.
I've used different brands of Alfredo sauce including different flavors infused with it. I found this taste just like the rest. That isn't a bad thing, that's a good thing. I found it to be creamy and delicious. For the value of it, I've actually switched to this brand. I'm very pleased with how it turns out my pasta meals. You don't need to drown your noodles ether, even just enough to give it a nice layer is enough to taste it.
The consistency is quite thick like you want it and it tastes great it has the most wonderful flavor for the price I didn't expect it to taste that good
Great taste with good texture. Makes a quick easy meal and is just as good as the more expensive brands. Although it doesn't need it, I like to add some additional seasoning to my alfredo sauce. Perfect size for a family of two.
i use this sauce for many different dishes. its handy to ha e around when I wanna throw a quick dish together add some pasta a jar of this some chicken breast or left over pork or steak add some shredded cheese a little cream cheese sour cream green onions bell peppers sometimes I use the sauce add shrimp and chicken and Parmesan cheese meal in one pot. and takes no time at all. only issue I had this orderis that one jar got broke and she took a pic and was gonna go back to store it was raining and I said it's fine that they could just credit my acct or refund it I'll get another one next order. so was wondering where that is and I know I out oaoertowels on here. and still haven't got those or so many items. it available this time so hopefully y'all restock soon. Happy Easter everyone stay safe.
So I would recommend as overall for the pricing it is worth it if you add a little of additional seasoning. More of a plan bland taste otherwise but again easy to just add some seasoning. The pricing you can't beat. Easy to use, even for kids, just open and pore out on top of any noodle salad or for any recipe. Does taste the same cold or hot so great for easy addition for kids to add or use as dipping sauce.
I thought I would save a little time by getting a jar of alfredo sauce instead of making it homemade. I probably spent more time trying to doctor it up to make it taste a little better. It was okay-ish, but definitely didn't satisfy my alfredo craving. I've learned my lesson, and next time I will make homemade sauce. Homemade really isn't that hard and is totally worth it compared to this jar of goo.
It's okay. If you're looking for alfredo on a budget, I would recommend it. However, if you want actual good, decent, and better-tasting alfredo, get the brand names or make your own at home. The texture is way off even when you water it down. The texture is very grainy, almost like eating watery chalk. It's not awful, but definitely won't be eaten or bought again by me
