(12 pack) Great Value Distilled Water, 1 Gallon

I use this product in my iron, steam mop, and coffee maker. It will save you from having to remove lime scale out and off of your small appliances that tend to build up lime scale when not using distilled water. I highly recommend it for those purposes.

First, I can't speak to the Great Value Distilled Water, 1 Gallon taste or after taste, I purchased it to use in my Shark steam mop and Rowenta Steam Iron. I can say that it is reasonably priced, arrived quickly and was well packaged. I will purchase again.

I like to keep distilled water on hand. I drink it when I am ill, I use it in little humidifiers, and when I had my cats I always used it solely as their drinking water. My male cat used to get urinary crystals and when I switched to distilled water, those crystals stopped.

The rating is for the bottle. Although the price is great, the container is awkward and uncomfortable in your hand. We use distilled water nightly for our C-pap machines. We preferred the jug as it was easier to fill our water chambers. Hopefully, they can bring back the jug, like Walgreen’s and Shaws.

This container is unacceptable. It is too difficult to pour without spilling it. I spilled a lot just trying to get the top off the first time, as it sloshed out. There is no handle to support the jug while pouring. And now it seems they are constantly out of the Parent's Choice brand with a "normal" gallon-jug-type handle.

If I could give this item less than zero stars I would. It's impossible to handle with that tiny little plastic holder. It is also impossible to pour trying to hold that fat container. Please reinstate the original container. I have my own distiller water maker, so I probably won;t be buying water from you.

The new packaging is really bad. It requires two hands to pour. Since I actually drink it out of the jug, it’s a real pain, since now I must use both hands. In particular, I can’t drink it in the car anymore while I’m driving. Not sure why they changed it, but I won’t be purchasing it anymore until they go back to the normal milk-jug style container.

Walmart has recently changed their traditional milk jug style containers for blocky drinking water style containers. These new containers are harder to grip and more difficult to pour. Considering the fact that distilled water is most often used in small appliances this feels like a ridiculously poor decision. For now I’ll just buy the distilled water aimed at infants since it still comes in an easier to pour container and is several cents cheaper.

The new jug that is now used for the gallon sized water is EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to handle! It's very hard to get a GOOD GRASP on the bottle so as to pour the water into another container. -- on numerous occasions I have almost spilled the water all over the floor ... :( I really hope Walmart reconsiders their style of packaging. Until they change their plastic jug style, I will have to buy my bottled water from another store.

Distilled water is pretty much distilled water, so I have no problem with the taste. It’s the packaging I abhor! I have problems with my hands %26 trying to pour from this extremely poor design is very difficult. These were a substitute for what I ordered, so now I’m stuck with them. Found another store to order my distilled water.
