(12 pack) Great Value Thick & Creamy Macaroni & Cheese, 7.25 oz

Out of curiosity I tried this macaroni even though I never try powder-cheese boxed Mac n cheese. A blogger tried about ten kinds and said this was, hands-down, the best bang for your buck and tasted great. He wasn’t wrong! It doesn’t have that weirdly sweet aftertaste the Kraft powdered M%26C has, and for around 50cents, you CANNOT do better. I’ve purchased several boxed to keep in my pantry. I love the squeeze-cheese packet kind too, but I can save 2-3 dollars per box and be just as happy with this. Yay!

I used to buy Kraft thick and creamy but I had seen a review on this mac and cheese on FB and decided to give it a try. It legit tates better to me. This is the only brand I buy now. I'm thankful that it's also significantly cheaper than Kraft but at the same time tastes even better.

I used to like Kraft Mac n Cheese but when they changed their recipe, I found the Great Value version. It is soooooooo much better than Kraft ever was and at a great price! I like the Thick and Creamy type the best and it makes good leftovers, too!

We buy this to keep on hand for quick meals or snacks. Easy to prepare. Easy to add veggies or meats to make it a meal. Nice and creamy especially when you use cream or half and half with your milk to give it an extra creaminess. Flavor is good and cheesy. We like to add extras to jazz it up so it is almost never just as prepared.

I boil my noodles for a long time so that they can't swell up anymore then you do the colander back in the pan put the cheese in it and someplace during all this time for hot dogs have been boiled to the point they split open cut them in small bite-sized pieces and stir them into your noodles and cheese they're fabulous and I personally am a pepper person you could try it

I was shocked that the Great Value Thick and Creamy Mac and Cheese was as delicious as I'd hoped. I had never purchased this product before because I am diabetic and mac and cheese has too many carbs for routine meals. This was the first time in over a year that I tasted mac and cheese and I loved it. I fortunately will not be buying it often due to my diabetes but it sure was a wonderful and creamy treat once a year treat!

Decent texture pasta. I think it's better than Kraft's pasta they use for their basic macaroni and cheese. It isn't as good as Annie's though. In terms of flavor it's a bit lacking. They seem to have increased the amount of sodium to make up for the lack of cheesy flavor. That said, considering the price, I think it's a good buy if you're not super picky. Would buy again.

I like to use this sometimes I'll get an idea while I'm making something and if I don't have cheese in the house I'll Rob the cheese out of one of these mixes cuz I got about three in the three or four in the cabinet and yes sometimes I'll Rob the powdered cheese out of it if I want to add cheese to something you know it's processed still get the basic message of cheese and whatever you're adding it to.

they changed the recipe it used to be just as good as kraft but now its like eating the mac and cheese you get from a church that has a name you never heard before! no flavor and tastes like chemicals! wont be buying again salt and pepper did no justice!

The new foil packets of cheese powder are absolutely STUPID. They sink to the bottom and you have to fish it out with your hands. Stop saving a few cents at the expense of the end user's experience, and put them back in the original packets. this is just padding the shareholders pockets while making a simple product less useful for the common person!
