The answer is NO - There is no other, except to have a little variety maybe - this dijon is hands down the very very very BEST! And by the way - this is the 16 OZ size to buy for the best price per ounce for a reasonably big jar. There are bigger jars too, if you use alot...last time I checked the price per ounce was about the same or a little better but not much.
I don't know about you, but I tot fed up with squeezable mustard jars. They work for the first 2 squirts, and then that's IT. It's impossible to get to the rest of the stuff by removing the cap and inserting a butterknife, on most days, isn't it? And when you can get some of "the rest of it" -- sometimes it's up to half a bottle that won't squeeze through! -- you end up too exhausted to continue to make dinner, so: I have BANNED squeezable mustard from my pantry and am sticking ENTIRELY with jarred mustard from now on! It makes more sense! Must less waste and you can actually stick a tablespoon in there when you need some for recipes! I think Grey Poupon provides at least mid- to upper-range Dijon. The name boggles the American ear, a bit, but: You know something -- I buy it because it's in a JAR. Side-note: after buying this and making Ina Garten's "Old-Style Potato Salad" -- which is a highly complex affair involving (count them) two different kinds of mustard entirely -- I turned the Tube back on (the TV), flipped on "Barefoot Contessa," and she was squeezing Grey Poupon into a recipe FROM A PLASTIC JAR. I wanted to throw my pitchfork at her! J/k, because she's a nice person, but: "Go-To Dinners" costs just a little bit more than the law will allow. <3. Peace.
This was a great deal on the 16oz jars of Grey Poupon Dijon Mustard. I couldn't find them at my local Costco store in Tucson, Az where I was getting them before.
Among my favorite mustards, you can taste the ground mustard seed, it's so flavorful. I like to mix it with local orchard honey for dipping chicken strips, it spreads nicely on sandwiches, adds a kick in sauces for rice and/or pasta dishes.
So glad to be able to get the larger size delivered. No stores have them on the shelf. I don't mind having it to be delivered as long as I can get it, thanks.
Great mustard. Horrible delivery -- jar lids were not secured. I recommend the product, but will not buy it again from Walmart.
All 3 of the Grey Poupon mustard had 6/2025 expiration date! I use a jar of mustard over about 3 - 4 months. When I get to the 2nd and 3rd jar those 2 will already be EXPIRED
Due to lacking packaging, one of the jars of Grey Poupon Dijon was broken and made a huge mess inside the box on the other 2 jars and the Burts Bee's lip balm had broken glass and mustard all over. Smells great but what a mess. Unsure how to rectify and get a replacement jar or refund for the broken one.
while I do love this mustard, I purchased 3 16 oz jars, because of the savings. Upon opening the package, I discovered that they are only a few months from expiration. This happens frequently, especially when purchasing items, in quantity. So much for savings, or being able to stock my pantry. One time, I would understand, but nearly always? Shame on you, Walmart.
Close your eyes - taste it/ take a whiff- I dare you to call this mustard!, more like salty, chalky toothpaste. Mustard is supposed to be spicy, make your eyes water and open the sinuses. Sad /upset %26 initiating a return Gulden's/French's/Equate better than this, why so many ingredients? They must use an inferior grade of mustard seed to cover it up with all those ingredients instead of letting it age.
