up on highest shelf.

Beverly August 6, 2025

it's nice to be able to order 6 at a time for a price. I use a lot of this kind of water and it's dangerous to get it in the store with all the bottles so high up on the shelve. With a fused neck and bad back it is so hard on me and possible injury prone. I've brought this up to many managers but they say their hands are tied. Most the people who use distilled water are older and with possible injury problems...there is never anyone there to help except sometimes another customer. Think about it.

Great for my carnivorous plants

Minador September 8, 2025

Great for my carnivorous plants that must have distilled water only. From what I understand from working in a lab, it's not good to drink distilled water because, if you only drink that, you can deplete your body of needed minerals. Use distilled water only for humidifiers and other equipment. And sensitive plants like the Venus Flytrap.

Can't go wrong with pure water

Christy January 23, 2026

This is plain and simple water with nothing added to it. This is usually the cheapest water in the store other than refilling your own bottle. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't want added minerals in their water, whether for drinking or using in something like humidifiers or aquariums. If you prefer the taste of natural or added minerals, the Walmart brand also has gallons of spring and purified water.

I use distilled water in my Bi-PAP machine. This is found in the baby section and is cheaper than the Great Value brand in the bottled water aisle. Right now every penny counts for me. Why pay more? We also use it for our cats water. They seem to like it better than our hard tap water.

Safe for both you and your appliances

Beth June 12, 2026

While not recommended for drinking on a long term basis, due to being stripped of all minerals, but you can remedy that by adding from 1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon of Celtic Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt to a gallon to re-mineralize and add electrolytes to it. It is excellent straight out of the bottle as a gentle face wash for sensitive skin or as a sponge bath for the very young and for the elderly. It is preferred for any steam appliances such as irons, clothing and floor steamers, vaporizers and humidifiers because you won't have mineral scale buildup, which is the reason those appliances fail if you are using tap water.

I use this water for making coffee

MISS July 25, 2025

People say not to drink distilled water. Could care less. I like pure water.. I don't mind the new bottle. Easy to carry. I dump the water into a 1 Gallon Pitcher. Walmart sells them . My go-to water

SusieQ February 6, 2026

This is my go-to water. I use it both for my baby's bottles and for myself, and it always tastes clean and fresh. There's no taste of vitamins, no earthy coconut flavor, and no sweetener aftertaste at all, which I really appreciate. The water tastes very pure and refreshing. The bottles are sturdy and hold up well, even when picking up in store or during delivery, and they've handled a few drops without leaking. The price is great and always affordable at Walmart. I usually pick up a few at a time for trips, curbside pickup, or to keep as backups at home or in my car. Reliable, good quality water that I keep coming back to.

The water is great. The bottle is not! I have sleep apnea so I have to fill the water every night. To try and pour this and hold the water container with this awkward bottle is almost impossible! I also have terrible back pain which is exasperated every time I have to work with this style bottle! Please Walmart, carry more of the milk jug style distilled water. You're always out of stock!

Ok water, miserable bottle.

Steve November 6, 2025

Horrible container! Most people buy distilled water to put in things like baby bottles, CPAP machines, irons, etc., things that have to be held upright and steady to fill. It is almost impossible to pour from this container with only one hand. Unfortunately, our Walmart only stocks distilled water with this shape of container.
