This is my favorite poptart. Chocolate chip cookie dough was best, then eggo but this is now the only one I'll eat and I will go looking elsewhere if a store don't have it. No sub
I bought these after not having pop tarts for years. I was searching to try any new flavors they had, didn't expect much from these but then when I tried them, the maple gooey goodness became an obsession. Personally, I love them and bought several more boxes after. I feel it's unfair for other reviewers to review bomb this awesome flavor just because they bought this one hoping it for some reason would be like the "cookie dough" one. This is not the place to do that... I will say, the "chocolatey" part of this flavor is a bit of a joke as I don't really taste the "chocolate", but I actually prefer that. In fact, a blueberry maple pancake flavor would be Amazing ✨✨✨ And hey, sure, bring back the chocolate chip cookies dough one too because people seem to love it and I never got to try it but I'd be down with peace ✌️ and love 🫰
the best flavor of pop tarts by a mile! The only thing I don't like is that I could eat an entire box of 4 packages in 1 sitting. Great maple and dough flavor and I actually prefer the texture (some are calling it "dry") compared to other pop tarts which sometimes is too "gooey" for my liking. These feel like a cross between a pop tart, cookie dough and an actual pancake to me. YUMMMMMMM! Please never discontinue these or I'll
i am a cookie dough poptart enthusiast. my go to poptart choice since 2009. TWO THOUSAND AND NINE... crying. anyway. doing my usual poptart sweep i noticed some oldies i recognized from when i was younger (hot fudge sundae and strawberry milkshake) and briefly i thought that my eyes fell upon my best friend, the cookie dough poptart. although i was mistaken, i was not disappointed! these taste exactly like the name. so peculiar. syrupy, chocolately, and definitely pancakey. i would say that my needs are met. it's so cookie dough poptart adjacent but also it's own, separate yummy thing. while this is rated 4 stars, know it sits at a comfy 4.6 out of 5!
I bought these because they discontinued the best flavor they ever had the cookie dough poptarts and hoped these would be close. they aren't bad but nothing like the cookie dough poptarts. Bring the original cookie dough poptarts back pleaseeeeeee. And no the others flavors don't compare so don't say to go find or try the other flavors, I have and they all disappoint compared to the cookie dough poptarts.
I was so hopeful that these would replace the void left from the discontinuation of the chocolate chip cookie dough poptarts, but I was immensely incorrect… These taste like raw pancake batter with syrup mixed in. I was so incredibly disappointed in these, and I will not be buying any more. PLEASE bring back our chocolate chip cookie dough!
I was hoping this would be an adequate substitute for the discontinued chocolate chip cookie dough flavor, but it is not even close. This one is just a strong maple syrup flavor, in my opinion.
so i see that chocolate chip cookie dough ( a favorite since childhood) has been replaced and it is not comparable at all. The old one was chocolatey frosting with the mix of dough. This is a lacking replacement bring the OG back
Honestly, I love pop tarts, but I didn't feel it here. This just tastes like batter which in my opinion isn't really that yummy! I like waffles way more so maybe its just bias, but my friend Elyas didn't like it too, so I don't know what went wrong here. Maybe it was just the one I ordered? Oh I don't know. Please do better next time though!
