Always consistent quality, every can. I tried the GV Frijoles, but after 20 cans or so, the excess water content was very clear as I can shake the unopened can and it shakes and sounds like a liquid. The BAD QA sent me back to these brand name beans, which cost 60% more, but are a quality product. See, it is possible to review a product, and NOT whine about dented cans.
These canned refried beans are really tasty. Sautée some minced onion and jalapeño in bacon grease. Once done, add the refried beans, a little water and a couple of tablespoons of butter. Mix/stir frequently…. Like every 30 seconds. Serve topped with chopped green onion and cheese of your choice.
I tried this brand after another name brand started going up in price and I am glad I tried these. They are actually better than the kind I used to buy, and the jalapeno variety is really good too! They are thicker than the other name brand that I was purchasing and tastes better, and besides I like the random pieces of being throughout the pureed beans.
I love using these refried beans. I always use this when making chili , it adds to the flavor ! Another use is in my ground beef taco filling , try it for a unique flavor addition !
This brand of canned refried beans is as close to home cooked as Ive ever had. Even my VERY CRITICAL MX husband did not know they were canned (in burritos)! This will always be my go to in a pinch.
Love Rosarita Spicy Jalapeno refried beans Great by itself with Tortillas or in 7 layer dip Great in burritos or tostados Super good as a dip with cheese and salsa added in.
I'm not sure if the recipe got changed or it was just this batch, but there seems to be too much cumin in these now. The cumin overpowers the taste of the beans and/or the jalapenos. Did not like this can.
I ordered 3 jalapeno Rosairita refried beans. I received 1 jalapeno, 1 traditional and 1 vegetarian cans of beans, Do the people filling all orders know how to read English know how to read the English language or are just lazy!??? Also there were substations that I was not asked to approve, which were more expensive than the items I ordered. That's unusual for Walmart to do. Your quality control is horribly substandard lately. I have been ordering my groceries, among other items. Your product “pullers “ are lazy, incompetent and/or illiterate. I have had to accept missing or non-fulfillment of my orders for a few months now. Perhaps you should hire people to review orders placed for Home Delivery because I am tired of missing items, wrong items and frustrating stress, Plus you are forcing me to pay for them and that is very unfair stress and anger on me, a faithful customer for many years. You have labeled me as a very recent patron. Check back on the numerous years I have been your customer. I would like to know how to speak to you about the poor quality of service I have had to endure. I am only writing an honest review of your services for many flaws I have experienced. I am not a complainer, but now I need to bring this to your attention. Thank you for your response to the review you requested. DV
it doesn't seem like the product was well prepared, beans are hard and they were so dry I had to add bacon grease to loosen it up. severely disappointed.
The chocolate chips were small little crêpe crumbs. It didn't taste good. It doesn't taste like the store and there was hardly any. It wasn't green. It wasn't minty. It's bad quality.
