12 Piece V-Groove Metric Combination Wrench Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The V shaped open end grips the fastener on four sides instead of two. The open end side is just a little thicker than "truck" brands but not as thick as off name brands. This is a good trade off of strength vs. being able to get into tight spaces. Also the open end side does not spread out when really applying torque to the fastener. This is good because the extra long length of these wrenches mean you can really apply a lot of torque. The body is nice and thin, maybe just a little too thin for me. It does pinch a little when bearing down on it but I almost always have gloves on so it's not an issue for me. Nice chrome finish is really easy to clean off. These will go into my toolbox to be used daily at work.

I've had this wrench set for over a year now, the 19mm frequently takes the brute force of a 3/4 drive impact gun on stubborn bolts and takes it in stride. Any wrench that can take that has earned its keep. These are my go to wrenches as a heavy diesel/fleet maintenance mechanic taking care of 80+ vehicles ranging from company cars and trucks to Detroit's, Cummins, and Caterpillar engines, as well as several Allison's. They've never failed me and are without a doubt the best wrenches I own.

The fit and finish of the wrenches is excellent. They feel well balanced and have a nice length. Theses are a great value and will be a great first wrench set or an additional add on. I'd highly recommend these to anyone looking for quality at an affordable price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A pretty nice set of wrenches. Finish is excellent -- they look like Snap-On in terms of a polished chrome wrench set -- in other words, top-notch. Open end wrench is good. The closed end wrench is different from what I am used to seeing. Rather than what I typically see with 12 point sockets with sharp points, there are rounded nibs. Do they work any worse or better than the pointed nibs? I don't know. They are different from what I am used to, but appear to work perfectly fine. Set comes with a really nice canvas wrench set roll pouch (for storage), something that is invaluable for making sure you haven't lost any wrenches when cleaning up after a job is completed and ease of gathering all your wrenches. Don't buy a set without a wrench roll pouch. As expected, the roll pouch fits perfectly. This set is worth buying.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised when these arrived. The wrench roll is durable and doesn't take up much space. I was very happy with the open end tolerances as they have a tighter fit than my other wrenches and the v-groove grips onto the fastener corners very well. The lengths of the wrenches are about the same as gearwrench and snap on long patterns. Sizes are easily identifiable as they are stamped onto the handles. Awesome wrenches!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a weekend auto mechanic I'm constantly working on rusty rounded off bolts and the V design helps greatly. The wrench feels good in the hand and helps with less busted knuckles from slipped wrenches. Will be buying more

This is a really great wrench set. I tried it on several brand new bolt heads, and the fit is dead on tight. The open end grips deep. The box end concerned me a little bit because the 12 point - 'teeth', I guess you would call them - are roundish, but they actually grip tighter on new bolts than my Craftsman wrenches do. Photo shows this wrench at left, and a Craftsman on the right. This is my new main set.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of wrenches from 8-19mm has everything you need for a quick tune up. I mostly keep this set in my car for Femergencies. It comes in a nice pouch and is kept organized and clean. The smaller wrenches cannot handle a lot of torque. I already bent 2 most commonly used wrenches. The V groove is a nice touch, and does not give any slack when turning, thus might be a little difficult to put the open end on bolts and nuts in akward positions. Price for a complete set is worth it, but wrenches strength can be increased, thus being titled as DIY'er.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am diesel mechanic and it never hurts to have more wrenches. The only complaint I have about these wrenches is the same complaint with all combination wrenches, the open end of the wrench will spread and can potentially round off a nut or bolt. The chrome finish on them is excellent, the fitment of both the box and open end is quite good, the long length of the wrenches is great for extra leverage, but i think the beam of the wrench might be a hair too narrow speaking on the comfort part of the wrench. They do feel like quality tools, they don't feel "cheap". For now they are my go to wrenches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It comes with a wrench rolled organizer which saves storage space, take it to go, and keeping it organized. They are much longer than your average wrench so the added leverage is great. The chrome finish could be a bit better since it looked like it had some orange peel in the open-ended side. Additionally, some of the open-ended side slightly weird shape (lobster claw) but it doesn't affect the intended use. Used it at work and no slippage thus far. The open-end is not serrated for the extra bite for rounded fasteners.
