I have this unit for about two months now and zero complaints. Living in S Florida you need a good ac unit to deliver in 90 degree weather, this unit does the job.
This ALPULON mini split is the perfect choice for garage - efficient, easy to mount, and blends in to the utilitarian space seamlessly. The WiFi support allows you to start to condition the space while away and have a perfect temperature garage (and garage workshop!) when you arrive home. In my humid climate the humidity control and sanitizing functions are key! They will keep the humidy low so there is no more finding moldy boxes stored after a cool wet spring. The self sterilizing coil will prevent mold buildup on the coil as well. It's so rare to have a unit with these great features! In many states a homeowner can install their own AC, and it sure is a fun project! In addition to a drill, hammer, and torque wrench we needed a flare tool, guage set and vacuum pump. Also if you DIY install you still need to pull permits. It requires buying lineset covers and a stand or wall mount. You also need to check lineset and control wire length. It was a blast doing it all!
Love it. It's so quit and easy to use.
