over priced and falsely advertised.

Christine July 10, 2026

These scooters did not come with a warranty, owners manual, or assembly instructions. The advertisement said they go 25mph and can travel up to 30 miles on a full charge, but they do not do either one. I would not recommend these for an adult, they're very slow and battery dies quickly, but would make a good ride for an adolescent. Honestly it would be worth it to spend the extra money to get a faster more durable scooter with a longer battery life. Don't buy these ASKGO Scooters you'll be disappointed.

Great little scooter for beginners. My son and I are heavy riders and we top out around 25mph in sport mode. He rides it 3 miles to work and back without much taken off the battery display. I'm not sure of the distance claim I haven't been brave enough to ride it that far yet. It does get a little squirrely on roads that aren't highly maintained and gravel. It does slow considerably on inclines (10-15mph) but myself I chocked that up to being a heavy rider. Very little assembly was required and what little there was it was easy taking maybe 10 minutes tops.

Pro Walmart email service very good. Quick reply. Scooter seems to perform somewhat to realistic expectations not what was advertised. Con Under warranty any mechanical issues, you will have to do your own mechanical work and buy the tools and scanner necessary to do the job. Very poor instructions manual and poor videos. Would not recommend for someone over 200 lbs. .

Okay in a pinch. Don't trust the 30 mile claim.

Bought this to get to and from work. Battery doesn't hold the advertised charge, only went 5.2 miles, (3 to work, 2.2 back, had to walk it the rest of the way home.) Manual is printed too small, and is a google translate slop job, no instructions on assembly (but it's simple enough to figure out), Contacted seller to see if i could get a replacement battery. If i get one, and it's actually good... i'll revise if i can. it'll get you where you need to go, assuming it's within 5 miles, and you bring the charger with you just in case it dies on you! wish it had a keyed start like a moped (harder to steal) slows down to about 13 mph on any kind of incline, but if you know how to set the speed modes, it can get up to around 22 on a flat, and 26 on a downhill. brakes are REALLY nice. stops quickly. If the US had any sense in how to build sidewalks, it'd be a great ride. gets real jittery on roads that aren't maintained well, so if you put a soda in the box of in a backpack.... expect it to spray ya when you open it! the light is... great if you wanna blind drivers (That's a joke, it isn't very bright, but it's also aimed high, like... car-windshield level) can't really see very far with it at night, I'd recommend trying to find a replacement for it if you really want to ride at night (like a bicycle light or something) I've contacted the seller about a possible replacement battery since mine seems to be garbage, we'll see how that goes.

Buy your own screws and nuts

Autumn April 6, 2026

Overall, pretty good and reliable scooter. Setup wasn't too bad, the little dinky manual didn't help much so I had to find my own online. When I started driving it to work and back, a lot of my screws and nuts fell off one by one. All the basket ones, and then all of the ones that hold the fenders lol. so I would recommend considering your own hardware if you can find it somewhere. Other than that, everything is pretty good and as I expected!

The instructions are way too vague! My front wheel keeps coming loose! I think I'm missing a part but cuz the instructions are bad I'm not sure if I am or not.

Don't Buy

Bumby July 3, 2026

How best to put it? Advertising is false. They lied about the speed. Speed was promised to be 25 mph, but on my initial ride, did not go any higher than 18mph. Riding around for fun, the battery drained quickly only a few miles in, was down to half battery. Then to have to put the bike together yourself, tires and all. I wouldn't recommend getting one from these guys
