Works well especially when the power is off. Good basic phone.
I use this phone when the power is out, I use it with the verizon home phone service with back up battery.
Excellent price, works as advertised.
The phone is great for me.
phone has good sound but phone cord (flex) is to short you pull the base off of the table everytime you answer the phone.
The phone is hard-wired, meaning you can't use your own clip-out cords with it. That wasn't mentioned in the description of the phone. I'm going to have to return it to the store next week--and my shipping is NOT refundable!!
I bought this for my bedroom nightstand. It fulfills the functions of a basic phone with caller id, but it's not very usable. Here are the peeves I have with it: • The caller id has no backlight; just an LCD display. How can I see who's calling during the night? • The phone cord and and headset cord are *integrated*. You can't swap them out! I have never seen this before in my life; it's stupid. • Base unit is too light. The short headset cord causes the entire unit to lift off the nightstand when I pick up the phone. I will be returning this phone and getting something else.
I bought this phone at walmart, about ten days ago as a spare phone for my garage I dont like it there are some reasons I dread using it 1. The cord is integrated I bought a new longer cord for it because I know none of there cords these days are long enough but the cord was integrated so i couldnt change it for a longer cord. 2 The caller id is quite dim and cannot see it quite in brite light and ofcourse not in the dark. 3. The keys are not backlit even the cheap family dollar phone I bought about eight years ago had backlit keys and that phone was only 5 dollars. 4. This phone uses batteries for the caller id which i guess isn't really a big deal. 5. well were going to keep this long story short thats enough reasons I dont like this phone. I reccomend getting an AT&T for more money and be able to change the cord and all they run 14.99 at Target which I would have bought at Walmart if they sold that particular phone. But I'm happy with my AT&T.
call waiting didn't work return to store on 1st day lost shipping cost .junk
Although depicted without a cord, this phone has a cord that cannot be removed (does not have a modular jack). This makes the phone useless for my purposes as I am unable to connect it to my existing modular cord. I might as well have set fire to a $10 bill
