Sturdy, look good, hold a full tall kitchen bag
Wanted a combo recycle/trash can, but most of them only hold 8 gallons each side..These hold 12:7 gallons each! So I got two of these and put them next to each other. Perfect solution!

SONGMICS Slim Garbage Can 12.7 Gal
My old Plastic 42 L garbage cans were so old I couldn't get the stinky garbage smell out of them anymore. I read that a Stainless Steel can controls smell better so thought I would give one a try. It arrived quickly and no damage. It has a heavy duty plastic liner in it and came with a roll of garbage bags specifically for this can. My 42 Litre Glad with Febreze garbage bags also fit but I have to stretch them slightly to go around the rim of the garbage can (this does not damage the bag). As designed the can fits into a more narrow space, useful in my small kitchen. So far the garbage can has not retained any garbage smells but I suspect the liner will eventually (after all it is plastic). Overall I am very happ with my purchase.

Just a couple of things wrong
I love the product, but the wastebasket liner shows white when you have a lid closed and I think that the tracks from the overall appearance in the kitchen. Otherwise fine product. The other thing that is even major is that the bags that you get normally from Gladd, etc. don't fit. They're a little too small for the perimeter of the trash container. So you have to buy their bags.

Exactly what I was looking for
I was looking to replace our slim fit kitchen trash can but most of the cans I saw were too wide. This can fit perfectly, has a slow close lid and was reasonably priced. I took off one star because I have to stretch the top of the standard kitchen trash bags to get it to fit snugly. It came with 15 sample bags but I dont know how widely available they are.

nicely made but the 13 gallon bags are to small to fix the opening.
