The only warning I would give is the terminals are smaller than the original batteries. When installing, watch for the wires slipping off prematurely. Otherwise it's a great fit!
One of the terminal covers was off when unpacked. There was no locking cover on the positive terminal. I installed it without the cover.

Great alternative to high dollar OEM battery

Works fine in my UPS: the terminals are a bit smaller than the OEM part so there is a little wiggle after install. This replaces my APC RB35 APC battery.

Battery is sold as a replacement for the APC 1000. The problem here is that this backup model takes TWO batteries and there was no indication of this anywhere in this product description. I was just assuming that my order would send me a "set" (two) batteries. So be careful when you order to make sure you get TWO (2) batteries in your shopping cart quantity if ordering for anything bigger than a APC 500. It turns out that I also was in need of a smaller APC 500 which only took ONE battery and its the same capacity 7.2 Amp-Hour and physical size. So i was able to combined the two batteries purchased under two separate items to get ONE good "set" for the APC 1000. I would have given a higher star rating if not for this SNAFU in the description. It would also have been "nice" if multi-set batteries that use the APC crosswire plastic middle mounting kit that hooks them in series with each other before sliding into the APC battery storage compartment had included NEW adhesive sticky labels like originals so we don't have to tape the two batteries together as one "unit" using reinforced adhesive shipping style tape to keep them both together.Time will tell if these batteries hold their life for more than a few years as my prior replacements from a different company did not last even 3 years before I got constant battery warning alerts every-time the AC power was momentarily glitched by electrical distrubances in the area (power company switching and lightening etc.).
