Auxiliary Tank Vehicle Swap
I bought this RDS Diesel Installation Kit so I could move an existing Auxiliary tank I installed in my 2004 Ram 2500 to my 2017 Ram 3500 Dually. These kits work as advertised and give you enough parts to customize the installation. I was able to connect the aluminum "T" directly to the factory rubber hose going into the factory tank, and just cut off the end of the factory metal filler line, using only one of the supplied rubber hose sections. I always double up the clamps when I install these, and they give you enough to do that. I removed the dually wheels and the complete inner fender liner, which made this install simple. Fast shipping from Northern too.

So far so good
Worked perfectly for my 2020 Ram 3500 dually with RDS 45 gallon tank. One side of the adaptor can slide into the soft filler neck hose above the tank, cut about 1.5" off the metal filler neck, use one of the rubber adaptors and you're set. Just rotate the clamps so you can access them easily. Cutting the metal filler neck was a little bit of a challenge. Make sure to disconnect the rubber part of the filler and bend it out of the way and I was able to cut 1.5" off the end of the metal neck with an oscillating tool.

2015 Dodge 2500 RDS Diesel install kit
Installed on my new Dodge 2500, works great but for the everyday diy project it can be tricky installation. Ended up dropping axle for some added room and tied into rubber hose on top of tank. No problems with over fill or with factory gauge throwing CEL.

Poor quality
I installed this kit on my 2024 Ram 3500. I worked fine for a while, but it now causes my main tank to overflow.
