When I went to visit my sister in Connecticut she had one of these nifty machines. Most everyone I know wants to keep their garbage can closed off so that there's no smell in the kitchen. The issue that we have is that the swinging garbage cans get slop from everyday stuff, all over the top and underneath. With the automated lid it keeps everything clean and tidy and it closes on its own. My husband and I try to conserve as much as we can and we were able to use reusable batteries in this unit. My sister's batteries have been going for over a year! The garbage can seals up tight for us and keeps the smells from the kitchen and it works on call every time. I absolutely love this thing I would recommend it again and again. My sister got the stainless steel larger model I got the 30 gallon black model.

Looks great in my kitchen, which is a small space. Says it holds 13 gallons, but it is smaller than I expected it to be, but it works just fine. The only drawback is it's not rechargeable and you have to actually use batteries but so far the battery life is decent.

I bought 4 one of the blue ones he lock on it was broken when it arrived. Bad quality v CB ontrol.

I have many Drew items. And the value is a 5 star on its own. This garbage pail is fantastic. It works perfectly! I'm totally enjoying it. The price (on sale 34.99) is amazing!! Great job Walmart!

Item arrived without any issues whatsoever. I've been using for a few days now and find that I must waive my hand several times inorder to get the motion activated to actually work. It's pretty as far as looks go. I'll be returning this product. The price would have been great if it actually worked. It's rather cheap. DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing!!

Lid doesn't work

I am very disappointed it does not work. I went and bought batteries for it. I was excited. No matter what I did it does not work. I was trying to get a good price and what I paid for is a product that does not work. I am trying to reach the seller to resolve this issue but there is no contact information just an address I guess I can write. But I won't do not buy this product. Rip off
