It's hard to complain when you consider the price. Remember to divide by 13 to figure the per item cost. It would have been nice if the zippers were a bit tougher. After ripping the first one out of the end, I learned to be gentler. These are definitely worth the price, especially for storage and not frequent use.
When judging the price with the quantity of bags, you have to realize that you will not be getting thick and durable material nor high quality garment bags. However, for the price, the value is excellent. If you are not looking for anything fancy to store you clothes in and perhaps have many articles of clothing that require garment bag storage, this product is a great option. Just be sure to handle the zippers with care. I had 2 incidents with the sliders coming off the chains of the zippers. With some careful handy work and patience, I was actually able to reassemble the zipper and restore to full use again.
As I only wanted to use to keep dust of my clothes, the storage bags works fine for me. Some of the zippers were broken, but they serve the purpose of my choice.
Very thin plastic but expected for the price & not detrimental to protecting a garment. Main problem is the zipper openings are very small. The zipper only opens about 1/2 of the bag length. This issue along with the extremely thin plastic bag make it very difficult to get clothing into the bag in comparison to other garment bags we have. A shirt for example is easy going into the bag becauase it can be easily manipulated. But my old heavy wool class A Army uniform was another story. Trying to manipulate it into the bag with the short zipper opening was difficult. I guess for the price you cant complain though.
The bags were so flimsy the zipper separated from the plastic as I was placing the garmet into it. Unfoutunately this product was a waste of the Earth's resources. I would have been willing to pay more to purchase a durable product.
They are cheap and not worth much the zipper has broken already on a couple of the bags but needed them for moving but would not order them again or recommend them to any one...
Was hugely disappointed. Bags ripped the minute I placed a garment in it. Zipper does not extend the length of the bag and simply broke apart. Could not repair it. Costumes or any article for my production will not be safely stored in these bags.
I was not happy with these garment bags at all. I had to "peel" them open and some of the zipper pulls fell off as I took them out of the box. I wouldn't buy then again.
When I began to open some of the garment bags, the zippers were a bit loose. By the time I zipped up each garment, a couple of zippers came off. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
In a word, these bags are JUNK! This is the first product review I've ever written, and it's because I want to try to save someone else from wasting their time and money buying these bags. For starters, they are only marginally thicker than the bags that clothes come back from the dry cleaners in. The zippers are literally the flimsiest zippers I have ever seen, and they only go about half way down the bag, making it tough to get clothes into the bag. On top of that, the zippers don't even have a stop at the bottom, so pull them too far down, and the tab winds up lying in the bottom of the bag...and good luck re-attaching it. Besides the zipper problems, no matter how careful my wife and I were getting garments into the bags, about half of the bags wound up getting torn, because they are so incredibly flimsy. I also bought the Mainstays Dress Bag (White), and they were fine, no problems at all. But these things? Pathetic...
