Over the past 40 years I have used a variety of window units for numerous situations. The PhiloDeco 12k btu unit is superior to any I have previously owned. In addition to the quiet and efficient cooling, this unit included great installation instructions with tools and supplies.

I haven't found anything I don't like about it. I bought the 12,000 btu. i was hoping that that with fingers crossed, it would at least cool the living and dining open area. there's a wall between the kitchen and living room. We had an LG, and i had to put a 25" standing fan in front of it on high just to cool the living/dining room. the fan didn't blow very hard. this one has all 3 rooms cool and blows so hard it would blow your wig off. lol. im very, very glad i purchased this ac. I'd never heard of the brand, but with the prices for the same ac from different name brands so much higher, this is the one i could afford to purchase. you can get a 3 or 4 warranty. By next summer, i want the rooms. we are cooling to have this brand of ACs in them. sorry for suvh a long review. 😀

Great AC, very high quality overall. Installs easily with two people, definitely should have two people to install. Very quiet. They stupidly have the remote closed by a tiny Phillips head screw which I am unable to remove, so my review is conditional, as they will have to send me a new remote, the screw head is stripped.

I was somewhat skeptical about this brand at first. I had never heard of it before. Since getting it up and running I am impressed with the setting options especially the mute function. Which turns down the fan and quiets the sound. We are living with 100 degree weather in my area of the country right now and this unit keeps my living space cold! (I like it cold) I am very happy with the Philo Deco Energy Star 12000 btu window air conditioner!!

Well, I actually ordered the wrong air conditioner, and I have not even taken it out of the box, I ordered it online and I don't know where the receipt is and not sure if I can return it. And it's not that I am not happy with it it came quickly. It came efficiently package great no damage so I'm wondering if I can return it?

This unit was easy to install with 2 people. I was pleasantly surprised that it was relatively lightweight compared to previous large air conditioners. So far,it seems to be functioning as expected. We had a long heat wave and it cooled the large room down quickly. I havent gotten the electrical bill yet but what are you going to do? I dont know if it has any issues like like leaking water from underneath and rotting my plaster wall and wooden window because its too new.

ok listen this ac is quiet with a mute mode that blows less than low. i got a much bigger than required unit thankfully. Because this item arrived with shipping boz dented and unit dented in the front and in the back. it does make a bit noise but is probably from dented up item i received. if it wasn't for that i think it was reasonably priced. i do have concerns with their shipping or putting a damaged unit out for sale. that's no good!

Not cooling power as advertised , my previous AC use to get my living room very cold and comfortable, this AC doesn't give me that. Sometimes I think is off because temperature is not cool.
