14.5-Inch Tie Dye Pink Spiral Lava Lamp

I have several lava lamps, but this one is one of my favorites! The colors on the base are really vibrant and so cool looking! Both the hot pink liquid with the white wax in the globe looks amazing and goes perfectly with the base. If you get a lava lamp that's cloudy, be sure to follow the tips for clearing it up - turn it on until the wax starts to flow, then turn it off until it completely cools. Repeat as many times as necessary until it's clear. Also remember not to shake it, because that will make the wax break up more and will make it very cloudy. If there are some wax blobs that are being stubborn and staying at the top, gently rock the globe side to side until they rejoin the rest of the wax, then let it completely cool. And, fyi, the round spring at the bottom is the coil that is needed to help heat up the wax evenly, so it needs to be laying flat at the bottom. it gets too hot for kids

The design on this is nice. The whole unit gets very hot. To the point I am concerned about fire hazard so I stopped using it. The lava wax looked good at times and then would just seem to clog up at the top. Overall if you want a functional lamp I would not advise purchasing this one.
