I use it not so much to provide light that can be cast across my whole desk but focused on a small section where I have most of my paperwork. It's perfect.

It is my favorite color and fits perfectly with the decor of my room. I love the dual bulbs and pull strings that face opposite directions. I can choose which area to light the most.

Color is close to what is pictured - it's a great modern lamp. The base is super heavy and sturdy. My only complaint would be this is advertised in description and phot as being matte - it is not. It has a reflective smooth surface.
