I liked the idea of already split beans to make using them for baking or in extract easier, except this were the most shriveled, dry beans I've ever used. definitely will not be buying again, even though they had a really good price. I'll spend more for plumper beans next time, especially since these were only partially split and I had to finish them myself (might as well bought whole and split myself at that point). I still used these for making my vanilla extract, but have to buy more as these were thin and dry, so lacking all the beautiful vanilla oils i expect to see in a bean I use in the kitchen.
