I'm a structure welder. These gloves typically last about 3-4 weeks. That doesn't seem like a long time, but I'm very rough on my gloves. Love the flexibility and the reinforced areas. I got these because of the gauntlet wrist, but love them overall.
They are really good glove I use them for MiG and stick and still hold up pretty good
they fit perfectly and worked for use with woodburner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the Caiman welding gloves and honestly, they're solid. They're tough where it matters but still easy to move in. They broke in pretty quick too, which I liked. They feel like they'll hold up for a long time. Fits like a glove! Super thick protection.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Caiman Premium Goat Grain TIG/Multi-Task Welding Gloves are a solid choice for welders seeking a balance of durability, dexterity, and comfort. Crafted with premium goat grain leather on the palm, these gloves offer excellent tactile sensitivity and flexibility, making them ideal for TIG welding and other precision tasks. The split cowhide back adds a layer of durability and heat resistance, providing decent protection against sparks and moderate heat exposure. The unlined design enhances dexterity, though it may limit insulation compared to lined alternatives, so they're best suited for lighter welding jobs or multi-task applications rather than heavy-duty, high-heat scenarios. The gloves feature thoughtful design elements like a padded palm and reinforced thumb saddle, which improve comfort during extended use and help reduce hand fatigue. The 4-inch extended cuff offers additional wrist protection, a practical touch for welders working in various positions. Kevlar stitching enhances seam strength, contributing to the gloves' longevity, though some users note that sizing can run slightly large, so checking the fit is key. Overall, these gloves excel in versatility and comfort for TIG welding, plasma cutting, or general multi-task work. They may not be the best for extreme heat or heavy-duty stick welding, but for welders prioritizing dexterity and moderate protection, the Caiman Premium Goat Grain Gloves are a reliable, well-crafted option.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im usually a M/L and got sent a S so I will try to note observations not stemming from the size difference. These are great gloves, they do the job good. Can get a little hot sometimes under a lot of continuous work. They are pretty flexible and break in well after you get some sweat in em. Just be careful handling sheet steel with these, they will scratch and rip eventually, but thats the deal with any TIG/combo gloves. I do like the sheepskin over the electrode handling areas, makes long TIG welds a breeze.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A few years ago, I trained to become a firefighter. This was the kind of glove we used to practice rope pulls and the like. I never passed the test- I am in shape but my cardio was not there. Plus, the gloves they had in smalls were so old they had no grip at all. I always wanted to buy a pair of these that were new to practice with but they were too expensive. Now I have a pair! The fit isn't perfect but that's not the manufacturer's fault. I also think it's a very nice touch that the carabiner was included. They feel thinner than I expected which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'm still no fan of cardio, but maybe I'll try again someday… I've got the gloves!
Was sent the wrong size. bummer
