Easy to assemble, except that one battery would not click in. However a few minutes with the file that comes with the saw fixed the problem. I used the saw to cut some big chunks of wood and it does the job as long as you don't get in a big rush. It has quite a bit of chain stretch at first, which is expected, but cut great once it gets settled in. Great saw for the money!

Overall it's a good saw. I can see where, if you were unfamiliar with chainsaws, the literature provided might be inadequate for the initial assembly and setup, but the device itself has met my expectations for its use.

I was very impressed with the saw. The automatic oiler works great, as well as the chain tension/tighter. I fully charged both batteries, and got about a half hour out of them. I really worked the saw in that half hour. It cuts great, and is easy to handle. It does take about 3 hrs. To recharge the batteries, but the amount of work I have to do, it's fine. I have done a lot of cutting with this saw with no problems. I don't want to leave out, it is quite a powerful saw for being electric battery powered.

LOVE IT! SUPER POWERFUL FOR ELECTRIC! batteries last a long time! easy assembly and disassembly for adjusting chain and cleaning. chain rarely pops off and doesn't leak oil and uses perfect amount without requiring too much to function!! 10 out of 10 and 5 stars across th board on this product!

I'm 66 years grandma w a bad left arm. I was shocked I could actually lift it . I ran it only yesterday for 2 hrs cutting firewood. not solid but some pretty hard wood. which blew my DeWalt away w cutting power. I work til battery drained. out on charger and took 6 hrs to recharge! DeWalt and Hart charge much faster and battery lasts all day. so this is the only disappointment with it is how fast they drain and slow to recharge

This choice worked well for my one-time seasonal trimming. Instructions included did not include chain install instructions, bar oil application and maintenance. However, electric vs gas chainsaw had some value, but ran out of charge relatively quickly /- 1.5 hrs of work), resulting in a one afternoon job turning into a two afternoon job, just to recharge batteries ( /- 4hrs)…. But The price, delivery and performance was better than dealing with the gas chainsaws that had been sitting for a while. Job got done.

i gave it all one star as i have not used it and will not be using it, it is too heavy so heavy i wont used it so i will have to find some way to take it back

There were no directions in the box I attempted to find them online I. I ask Walmart to help me and their AI said no they could not. I am going to be forced to return this even though I don't want to because I don't know how to put it together.

does not include any kind of bar and chain oil, you will have to purchase that separately. works okay for small shrubs but lacks sufficient power to get through any real wood quickly at all. the tensioning is a joke and this has thrown the chain each time i have used it. very dangerous, highly dont recommend buying this.

Cheap plastic. Arrived cracked and broken.
