My husband always bought gas tools. And with the price of gas nowadays, he decided to try the electric one. This is a great item. Already cut down a big tree in our yard. I would recommend it to everyone. It's light weight compared to the gas ones. He loves it.
Good value for the money. Hwmeloed me to do a major land escaping renivation
I've cut about 2 cords so far.Batteries and I run out of energy about the same time, but then I'm 86.
Nice little chainsaw for yard work... removing brush... de-limbing soft aspens, etc. Definately worth the money, and good price...
This saw was very easy to put together. It has plenty of power. And the batteries lasted 35 to 40 minutes of hard use. It cut down 8 to 10" trees.
It worked fine for the first couple of uses except that the chain kept getting loose. The knob didn't do a good job of tightening the chain. Once the chain was tightened sufficiently, It sawed through the wood decently until one of the batteries stopped working and would not recharge. I wanted to keep it until that battery gave problems. I know the charger was fine because I tested both chargers with the good battery. Anyway, I returned it.
This tool was a rip off. Tried to use but blades do not stay on. Tried to treat plants in yard. Unable to. Worse equipment ever. This was a used item. Or parts to it is. This was robbery. Waste of time and money. Stop selling this product. Then I can't get immediate refund from store.
I'm going to return this item. Worked for about 10 minutes and now nothing. Unsure, but feel one of the battery packs went bad. For the 10 minutes I did use this item, I couldn't cut a log. Borrowed a chain saw and it cut the log with no issues. Thought the chain might have been on backwards but the reversed chain wouldn't stay on.
Why do you use a different manufacturer for the same walmart brand. I expected Hyper tough and got kung foo Charlie instead. You sell smaller saws at store with SAME color combo. I wanted same as Walmart brand so i do not have a half dozen different batteries. I own a weed wacker and a small limb saw that are both Hyper Tough brand and both get the job done well. At least let a person know that you changed the brand but keep it looking exactly like Hyper Tough. Thats a cheap shot.
Chain is very hard to deal with husqvarna chainsaw is the only way to go
