I want to buy one that can help me to slide the chairs easily on the carpet. This is exactly what I want. The quality looks great. There surface is smooth. It is much easier to adjust my heavy dining chairs now. I searched on line to look for it. Many similar products only say they are protector but do not say if they can offer sliding function. Some products say they can help slide but need me to put nails on the chair legs to prevent falling off. This is the best one after my searching. It won't fall. It attach the chair legs very well. It allows easily move and slide the heavy chairs easily.

We love these silicone sleeves for chair feet. We have gorgeous wooden floors and these are a life saver from dragging stools across the floors. We have them even on our rod iron patio chairs. They work great on outdoor rugs and concrete. these sleeves make chairs move like there is butter on them. So much easier...even for our little guys to move the chairs. We have recommended them to family and friends and they love them!!

We have an area rug in out dining room and our wooden chairs are heavy and hard for my wife to move on the area rug because of her physical limitations. I have purchased many types/styles of glides (including national brand name ones) that claim they are for use on carpet and found them all to be lacking in performance. After doing multiple internet searches I was almost to the point where I felt we would just need to remove the area rug when I made one last attempt and found these. The price seemed reasonable and decided to give them a try. They arrived today (very quickly by Walmart) and when I took them out of the box I was shocked to find the bottoms to be so slick, but I reserved judgment until they were installed. They went on the chair legs very easily and after putting them on I was amazed how easily the chairs now glide across the carpet...far superior to any of the other types I tried (and didn't) have to be nailed, screwed or glued on). We are extremely pleased with the initial performance of these slip-on glides for my wife. Again I just installed them today so I can not testify to how well they will hold up over time, but they show no indication they will fall off or likely to fail at this time. The other ones I have tried never slide so well when they were initially installed. Even if these do have to be replaced in a reasonable amount of time they are so easy to put on and reasonably priced I am willing to get more of these because they make the chairs slide so much easier and we can keep the area rug that we don't want to have to remove. These are much like Ruby Slippers in design, but with a slick sturdy silicone bottom instead of a felt like material and glide so much better than the other metal and varying plastic-like ones I previously tried. Extremely pleased at this time!!!

I use the product on my formal dining room area chairs and also on my patio chair. I have towels in my home and he makes it very easy for me to move the furniture around the chairs when I'm doing my house cleaning I'm very satisfied with the product. I used this on my bar stools for my dining/living room. The room is carpeted and these make the stools glide effortlessly. The ones I purchased are 2 inches in diameter.

I need them to be more durable for my "ranch" family. They help sliding the chairs on the rug but one has already split on the side.

I put these on my counter height bar stools, I measured, twice, and then ordered. I have round ones like these on my kitchen chair legs, they fit tight was hard to get them on but work perfectly. These are not the tight fit, they slipped on but don't fit tight. I can lift the stools, and they won't fall off, they glide just fine, so doing the job of protecting my floors.

Love the design. Need more clear dimensions. The ones I got work great but are too big for chair legs. Amazon lists more in depth measurements.
