This is everything promised %26 more. It's just large enough %26 being able to change the hue to that which is easiest to see. Multiple alarms are helpful in reminding me it's medicine time. Plus, it has a remote! The only thing I was disappointed with is I had ordered a bronze clock, not khaki. I'm just going to get the wood for a frame, paint them red-gols and encircle the clock.

The size is perfect for viewing across the room or close-up... The display could be a little brighter but the choice of display colors makes up for the brightness level. You can also change the colors for different holidays or events, Being a senior the large numbers are a very nice plus !

The pictures don't do it justice. It is very bright and clear. I like that it plugs in. It's showing the day of the week, the time (24 hour) , the temperature, and the humidity. The cord is small and unobtrusive and plenty long. It has battery backup and I put two AAA batteries in it. It has alarm but I don't use that yet. I have it in the living room where I can conveniently see it. It's very nice. It is very easy to set. The instructions are clear.

You can install two AAA batteries for memory backup, though please note these will not power the display or the alarm during a power outage. There are three standard brightness levels plus an "auto" setting. I have been using a fourth level labeled "SL," which seems to be the dimmest setting for nighttime while still automatically adjusting during daytime. The table digital clock is nice! The manual is easy to understand. There are four buttons at the back to set the clock. I was thinking that the screen of the clock can pressed to set the clock, but No! Just the four buttons at the back. And it's easy to set. The digital clock came with a charger cable and plug. I was confused as to what the charger was meant for because there was no obvious connection port on the clock. But there is a space for AAA 2 battery. I put the battery but the clock didn't come up. Confusion: the battery didn't seem to power up the clock and I didn't see no connection port on the clock for the charger. I had to check the Walmart display of the clock to know how to power the digital clock. I finally got it! There is a small hidden connection port for the clock inside, so hidden! I plug the charger and connected it to the port and the clock powered up so bright and nice! Here is my honest opinion: The clock should be rechargeable. Once you plug off the clock, the clock goes off! You have to plug it every day, every minutes and seconds, to use it. The battery is for the alarm. The battery alone does not power up the clock.

I bought this because it implied that it can be used with batteries. I bought N batteries but AAA batteries are what is needed for the remote and clock. It will not work with only batteries. It will only work being plugged into the wall. Do not buy if you're looking for a clock that runs on batteries. This is not it. That's is why I bought this. The part of the house I want to put this does not have an outlet. It's cute if you're okay with wire going down your wall and has an outlet and the wire is noticeable. For context new batteries are in but it still won't turn on unless plugged in.

I requested a battery operated clock to hang in my classroom. Description said it was battery operated. IT WAS NOT!
