I installed the heater 2 weeks ago and it has worked as expected. Warm and toasty in Colorado. The battery powered igniter was a big improvement over the mechanical types. The unit arrived when stated. All good.
i installed it in to a 12x15 closed in porch that has 5 single pane windows, storm door, and no insulation in the walls or ceiling. Makes my wifes football room nice n toasty!
great heater great price very satisfied my first day using I will update if it changes.
hard to install but once in its very easy to use.
Best priced comparable to similar products. Renter installed it himself. So far seems to be a quality product.
I've been using the heater for a couple days now; it's working great. The installation instructions are well written. I'd say it's a good product for the money, seems well built and it keeps me warm
There's no blower! No fan to help disperse the heat! And of course it's not mentioned in the description.
This heater's manufacturer requires de-rating for above 2000 ft altitude. This is not clear in the description. Step by step instructions are provided for self-install. A de-rated orifice is provided, but no instructions are given, and manufacturer will not provide schematic of orifice location or help with this step. Local HVAC companies will not de-rate without performing full installation. The install cost is extreme for this size unit. Everyone says that the orifice change is a piece of cake, but modifying the heater will void the warranty. All connections are painted to show any connection change. A sensible buyer would return this unit asap.
This heater looks good, but more heat escapes from inside and goes right out. For it to be 17,000 BTU's it more equivalent to a 5,000 btu. I feel like this was money gone right down the drain. I wish I could get at least half of my money back. I paid to have it installed, but will be cold this winter.
I ordered the wrong 😑 wall heater.
