Works good for me overall.
Overall I like the material better than previous AstroTurf types. I was able to use the springs, so far they have stayed in place after some break in. They are settling in good, staying snug and wearing great. It really helped our large dog get in without slipping, much better traction wet or dry. There is some cushion to them, but the thickness does make my steps bind up, it takes a strong pull to deploy the steps now. Might just be my particular steps though.

Good and Iffy
We really like the idea of these. They are certainly easy to step up and down on . Color is great. Protects skin in a slip. Keeps little rocks out of the trailer. Your steps might fold up with them on - ours do not. Problem is the clips come off - my husband is working at getting creative (tie wraps don't work because they need to be cut every time the steps retract). We will keep them and try to find an acceptable, workable solution.

dog claws can get caught
I would be cautious of looped rugs if you have dogs. Their claws can get caught, which can be dangerous on steps.
