Nice to Know
With the end of Sears and the Craftsman line, parts have become difficult to locate. Yes, i know the tools can be found. Parts can be difficult. Being a 3 Name Plate Factory auto dealer, we require tools and parts that will last AND perform. Nice to know I can locate almost anything at Walmart and it will arrive promptly.

Fits perfectly
It fit perfectly, the seller has a chart and you can match it up with your model number. Before we saw this we purchased one elsewhere and it didn't fit. I even talked to someone at the store and I was told which one to order. Very pleased with this one.

Fits 6 Gallon Craftsman Shopvac
Ordered to replace the OEM filter on a 5 gallon Craftsman shopvac (model 125.12004). The installation was easy and the package included the plastic nut to fasten the filter to the vacuum lid. Suction appears to be good with the new filter so far.

17816 Filter Replacement
Very good filter but needed a little bit of adjustment for my shop vac. Since the filter for my vac is no longer produced, this was an excellent replacement.

Almost Correct
The item was supposed to replace my current filter. It fit tightly and was about a 1/4 of an inch too long, however I made it fit and the unit works.
