Looks like it will work great for river fishing but have not yet used it since it is.winter in my part of the country.

Just OK but not great
I suppose these are OK but I don't think they are worth the price. They are lower profile than a regular life jacket but you still know you have it on. A major flaw is the manual inflation valve. If you really needed it, it is very difficult to find and free from the Velcro side section. If you were in the water it would be even harder. I'll throw these on the boat but I just don't see them getting much use.
